After reviewing some landmark albums for a recent Facebook meme (25 Albums) I quickly noticed how cool the album art for some of my favorite Sesame Street LPs is.
The influences are undeniable, from Motown to Blue Note to Broadway, Sesame Street album covers were as hip as any children’s record art could have been. Bold colors and photography, great type and font choices, and just plain fun.
We had the “Big Bird Sings”, but man, I wish we had the Monsters album.
