A prevalent trend, with roots in heraldry I’d wager, I’m really liking the intersecting X logos. It’s a simple formula that requires a some style to master. (Judge my quick example gently.) You take the business name or initials, toss them around a couple intersecting lines, tools, objects, est voilà. Maybe add in the year, or a tagline. Feels like it’s popping up more and more lately. A quick search on Designspiration with the keyword “logo” produces examples like these:
